Crunchy mealworms have a mild nutty and slightly buttery flavour. Their taste blends easily with added spices depending on the chosen seasoning. You can eat them instead of chips or nuts. You can also sprinkle them over salads or risotto.

Where are the mealworms farmed?
Mealworms are raised on a farm in a controlled environment. They have plenty of space, as they naturally live in dense groups in the wild. No antibiotics are used in their feed. Before each harvest, the mealworms are cooled down, which puts them into a “winter sleep,” similar to insects in nature during cold weather.
We consider insect farms to be a modern and sustainable form of farming for the future! At Sens, we are also developing our own sustainable cricket farming system.
